Angela K. Walter

Angela Walter's practice spans complex commercial, real estate, and business litigation, including first- and second-chair roles in jury and bench trials across Texas. She has managed all phases of litigation while advising business leaders and in-house counsel on risk assessment and case development. Having represented clients in more than 270 civil cases, she has built a strong track record in trial advocacy, negotiation, and client relationship management.

Her transactional practice covers a wide range of corporate matters, including the acquisition, financing, and disposition of business entities through asset and stock purchase transactions; entity selection and formation; sales of debt and equity securities; negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, employment agreements, licensing agreements, and other contracts; and general corporate matters.

Ms. Walter was born and raised in California. Her first glimpse of entrepreneurship came from her parents, who owned several businesses—some successful, some not. Through observation, she witnessed firsthand the business transactions, negotiations, and legal challenges that would later serve her well in her own endeavors. She attended Hawaii Pacific University. She then worked at a financial firm while investing in real estate and business. Her first venture into entrepreneurship was an online retail business, then later sold it. Although she found success in her career, she came to recognize the ongoing legal challenges that real estate and business owners face.

Ms. Walter graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston and is a licensed Texas attorney.

I focus on real estate transactions, real estate litigation, business disputes, asset protection, business consulting, and business restructuring. I also practice estate planning, which is often intertwined with real estate and business matters.
